I live right down the road from the ZVex Effects headquarters here in Minneapolis, and have been pals with them for some time so this project is long overdue! I wanted to bring a fun exclusive to the collection, and the Instant LoFi Junky just felt like the right choice. It's so unique, featuring vinyl style warble and chewy compression. A pioneer of sorts in the lofi/nostalgia pedal lineage, while remaining a truly unique option for lofi enthusiasts across genres and instruments.

This pedal was designed to emulate the sounds and textures of the Lo-Fi Loop Junky™ in real time, but it goes far beyond that. Click it on and mix your sparkly clear compressed signal with the smashed, lo-fidelity warbled signal and listen to it become a luscious emulsification that can be blended to the most perfect depth. Achieve new haunting chorus sounds and pulsating vibrato. Unusual and fun, you’ve never heard anything quite like it.

The Little Box Exclusive ZVex Instant LoFi Junky features the classic sounds and circuit of the original, with mustard yellow knobs and a vibey, mid-century aesthetic designed by Mpls designer alxndr jones.
