Fjord Fuzz is at it again, pairing a classic fuzz circuit with a "reverb boost" to elevate your tone to new levels. DOVRE pairs simplicity and style, with its two-knob, dual circuit pairing of a finely tuned Fuzz Face style circuit and a unique reverb circuit that adds depth and life to your fuzz tones.
DOVRE gets right to the point, with a Reverb Depth control and a Fuzz Output control along with independent foot switches for each circuit. Use them separately or pair them for soaring leads or saturated shoe gaze and post-rock textures.
This two-in-one box is a ton of fun, allowing for instant inspiration.
Available in this sleek black/black/black aesthetic with backlit icons to indicate when each side is engaged.
More from the builder:
DOVRE is a high dynamic range fuzz + spring reverb emulation with fully separate circuits
Dovre is a culturally significant mountain range in the middle of Norway. Upon its hills people have lived for over 6,000 years, but it is now most prominently inhabited by Muskoxes, Hardanger fiddlers, American Car enthusiasts and farmers. You probably know it best from the Edvard Grieg piece “Hall of the Mountain King” and hey, fun fact: I went to the same school as Grieg and toured the world in my youth, playing his orchestral works.
DOVRE, the pedal, is a fuzz-reverb worthy of the Mountain King.
On the right hand side you have what I personally think is the culmination of my three year long, intense deep dive into what I call “high dynamic range” fuzz circuits. It’s a modest one-knob fuzz, but it’s absolutely my finest work to date.
On the left hand side you have a beautiful, drippy and surprisingly authentic-sounding spring reverb. I left it with just a single decay knob to control the reverb length and it’s really the only thing you need. The preamp is super clean and the mix is set to 50% dry analogue pass-through to keep your signal as crisp as possible.
